Dunnings Road Duplication To Cater Traffic Volumes

Another major road project is in progress to improve mobility and access for Point Cook residents. The duplication of Dunnings Road between Palmers Road and Juniper Avenue will see an extra lane added to the section of Dunnings Road that will help relieve current road congestion and improve safety to the central Point Cook area. The duplication will end at Palmers Road therefore providing easier access to the freeway.

The project has started since late November 2010, and is expected to be finished by April 2011 with total cost $1.5 million.
